Wound Care

Catholic Health Centers for Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Healing

Nurse and wound care patient

Our centers, with locations in both Nassau and Suffolk counties, help patients suffering from a wound or an ulcer that has not started to heal within a month or has not healed entirely in two months. Catholic Health's team of experienced wound care specialists customize the most effective treatment plan to stimulate healing for these chronic or non-healing wounds, including those requiring advanced dressings or extensive treatments.

Catholic Health also offers Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy, a treatment that helps a patient's blood carry more oxygen to their organs and tissues to promote wound healing as well as activates the white blood cells to fight infection.

Contact a Center for Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Healing location near you for more information and to make an appointment.
